Mahalo for Supporting Lights for Lahaina

Lights for Lahaina – Day of Illumination was held on September 6, 2025, at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church, and it would not have been possible without the outpouring of aloha from our community. Your presence, prayers, and generosity created a space where remembrance, healing, and resilience could shine brightly.

From keiki laughter during lantern-making to stories shared by moonlight, every moment on the church grounds reflected the spirit of Lahaina. As the Full Harvest Moon rose and the Light March made its way to Puʻunoa Beach, we walked together—honoring lives, carrying memories, and affirming our hope for the future.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all who supported this gathering—our kūpuna, keiki, families, friends, cultural leaders, sponsors, volunteers, and community organizations. Each of you helped illuminate Lahaina’s path forward.Lights for Lahaina was more than an event. It was a collective expression of aloha that showed the world the heart of our island ‘ohana remains unbroken. Mahalo nui loa for standing with us.

Who is Aloha Amplified?

Aloha Amplified, Inc. is a Maui-based nonprofit led by a small group of dedicated community members with experience in recovery efforts, environmental and cultural work, communications, and local economic development. At the heart, we’re simply people who love this island and want to give back. We created Aloha Amplified to support the strength already alive in our communities—by uplifting local stories, small businesses, and efforts that bring people together through events, programs, and connection. Everything we do is rooted in aloha and guided by a deep sense of kuleana for Hawai‘i’s future.

How can I support Aloha Amplified’s mission?
